Ntha Foundation Officially Transitions into Kwathu Kollective: TAPPING INTO AFRICA’S INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY

We are thrilled to announce that Ntha Foundation has officially undergone a transformative change. As of now, the Foundation is incorporated under the new name, Kwathu Kollective Limited, reflecting our deep-rooted commitment to empowering African creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

Since 2021, Kwathu Kollective has been a space of innovation, collaboration, and growth—a culmination of countless personal sacrifices, financial investments, and unwavering dedication to a mission: to empower the African continent through entrepreneurship and creativity.

This change is part of our broader strategy as we step into 2025:

  1. Globalizing Ntha Foundation: With the Ntha Foundation incorporated in the United States, we are shifting its focus to championing our global efforts, building international partnerships, and amplifying African innovation on the world stage.
  2. Localizing Kwathu Kollective: The Kwathu Kollective, including Kwathu Kowork, will now operate as a distinctly African brand, collaborating with local and regional partners who share our vision of Digitising Africa.

This shift signifies a slight pivot in our operational model. While we have built our own hubs in the past, moving forward, we aim to expand our reach by collaborating with like-minded organizations, businesses, and governments to ensure that our mission of empowering African entrepreneurs, particularly youth and women, thrives across the continent.

This exciting chapter would not have been possible without the incredible support of our partners, donors, and community who believed in this dream and contributed to its growth. Thank you for being part of this journey, and here’s to a future where Africa’s innovators take center stage!

What You Can Expect Moving Forward

  • Kwathu Kollective will serve as a hub for collaboration and innovation, working more closely with local entities to expand our impact.
  • Kwathu Kowork spaces will continue to operate, serving as inclusive environments for entrepreneurs and creators to thrive.
  • Ntha Foundation will lead our international partnerships and global advocacy efforts, representing African innovation on a broader scale.

Together, we’re charting a new course toward a future of innovation, empowerment, and collaboration for Africa.
