In an effort to empower young women and girls gain access to digital education and upskill their careers, Digisavy Africa and the Fiftfh Alley collaborated to conduct trainings and workshops from the 23r of March to the 25th of March 2022, in celebration of Women’s History Month, in an effort to curb the gender digital divide in Africa.
Ntha Foundation through Digi Savvy Africa aims to contribute to overcoming the Eastern region’s digital divide by setting up an Educational Hub in Mangochi under the Kwathu Innovation & Creative Centre.
With support from the Malawi Government, through the Public Private Partnership Commission, under the Digital Malawi project funded by the World Bank, The Ntha Foundation is establishing an innovation and creativity hub in Lilongwe, Malawi. The hub will be implementing the Digital Skills and Innovations project, in the form of digital skills trainings, targeting the youth.
The Ntha Foundation invites applications from individuals and organisations that would like to like to apply on behalf of eligible individuals, who are looking for an opportunity to enhance their capacity in information and communications technology (ICT), to enroll into the 12 week Digital Skills Training Program, which starts in June, 2021.
The Malawi Government, through the Public Private Partnership Commission, with funding from the World Bank, launched the digital skills project in Mzuzu, Malawi.
