Applications are open for the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship 2024 Cohort. The @MandelaWashFellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (#YALI). YALI was created in 2010 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020.

Established in 2014, the #MandelaWashingtonFellowship has brought nearly 6,500 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa to the United States for academic and leadership training. The Fellows, between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their communities and countries.

The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB | @Ma

The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB | @MalawiGovernment) has released the 2023 Primary and Junior Certificate exam results, showing an improved pass rate of 87.77%.

Out of the 267,330 candidates who sat for the PSLCE exam, 234,644 have passed. This represents an improved pass rate of 87.77%, compared to last year's 83.24%.

The top 10 of the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) Examination results are led by Alinafe Chulu (F), from Blantyre City at number 1.

Nthanda, 28, is a Social Scientist (Economist) based in NYC undertaking a Graduate Programme. She brings to the team a decade of experience in Business Development, Digital Media, and Knowledge Management.

An Entrepreneur, Economist and Demographer by training, Nthanda led the establishment of the @NthaFoundation, and all the brands, initiatives and programmes under it. Her dedication, vision, and unwavering determination has transformed her dreams into reality.

Her 4 years with @NthaFoundation saw her establishing programmes for youth which continue to excel in her absence. She has not only created a business but also a legacy of inspiration. We as the team at @KwathuCentre are honored to carry forward these dreams, as she pursues international development.

The @NthaFoundation in collaboration with the #Dig

The @NthaFoundation in collaboration with the #DigitalMalawi Project operationalized by the Public-Private Partnership Commission (PPPC Malawi) on behalf of the Malawi Government with funding from the World Bank held its second @DigiSavvyAfrica graduation on July 28th, 2023.

The graduation ceremony, which took place at Excel Primary School in Mangochi, ran from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, was an exciting event as 145 participants graduated in Digital Skills Training, and Nyenyezi Fellowship: Entrepreneurship Training.
