With funding from The @WorldBank through The Public Private Partnership Commission (@pppc_malawi) Under @MalawiGovt, we @NthaFoundation have completed the Digital Skills Training of our third cohort.
Thus far, we have trained 428+ young people in digital and entrepreneurial skills – 209 of whom are ladies, and 149 are gentlemen.
In the current cohort, the 128 participants from Lilongwe and Mangochi were trained in:
Introduction to Computers
Digital Creative Skills
Digital Marketing
Gamification and Programming
Internet and Marketing
Digital Media, Videography, & Photography
Search Engine Optimization
Social Media Creation and Management
and
Web Design
The training equipped participants with foundational digital & entrepreneurship skills. The @NthaFoundation in line with the #DigitalMalawi Project delivers courses benefiting youth and entrepreneurs in basic ICT & digital media (communications, Branding and Marketing) skills.
Upon completion of the digital skills training, we conducted an evaluation and assessment process at the Kwathu Innovation and Creative Centre hub this week. The evaluation process will help Ntha Foundation determine what works well and what could be improved as we further implement The Digital Malawi Project. Post-evaluation and assessment participants will take part in The Nyenyezi Fellowship Program.
