Our Esteemed Guests | NMN BATTLE OF THE BANDS RECAP

The NMN Battle of The Bands Show, a prestigious event that pits bands against each other in a musical showdown, reached new heights when the EU Ambassador graced the occasion. In a captivating speech that captured the hearts and minds of the audience, the Ambassador emphasized the significance of partnership and the empowerment of young creatives within the music industry.

In a world where collaboration and cooperation are the keys to success, the Ambassador highlighted the pivotal role that partnerships play in the growth and development of the music sector. He stressed that forging strong alliances between different stakeholders, such as artists and music producers, can lead to innovative and groundbreaking projects that will propel the industry to new heights. He underscored the fact that the future of the industry lies in the hands of these budding talents, and it is our collective responsibility to provide them with mentorship and support they need to thrive.

We also had the pleasure of hosting the German Ambassador at this event. This meant a lot to us because most of our funders and partners as Ntha Foundation are from Germany – the GIZ, the German Cooperation, the Goethe Institut, the Federal Foreign Office of Gemany, Siemens Stiftung, and the AFC GmbH, to name a few.

Amidst the excitement of the NMN Battle of the Bands, our event featured a distinguished panel of mentors and judges. In the course of their duties, these judges found it imperative to reflect upon the judging criteria, ensuring that the competitors’ satisfaction with the judging decisions was of paramount importance.

Following the exciting NMN awards show, the battle of the bands, our team had the opportunity to sit down for a meeting with the esteemed Priscilla Mwasinga from Sound Connects Funds. During this meeting, Priscilla Mwasinga recognized and commended our team for their outstanding efforts. She further acknowledged our team’s hard work and dedication.

As our meeting came to a close, we had the pleasure of involving a few of the M4M participants in sharing their post-event reflections and emotions. This provided an insightful and heartfelt perspective on the event’s impact, making it a truly memorable experience and heartfelt conclusion to our gathering.
