M’mawa Management Training | Finance Associate

Position: Voluntary – Finance Associate (Management Trainee)
Duration: 3 months
Location: Area 47, Lilongwe

We work in close collaboration with the Bien Corporation Africa; who handle the production and dissemination of our work. We work in multimedia, specialising in digital media.

Purpose of the M’mawa Management Training Program

The M’mawa Management Training is a full-time voluntary program at Ntha Foundation, providing in-class lessons and on-the-job trainings in administration, communication, digital skills, people skills and work ethics. We understand that we cannot all be entrepreneurs/founders – that there must be some managers/administrative partners to assist start-up founders in the realisation of the development of sustainable business.

This program enhances the educational experience through practical training and guided hands-on exposure & involvement in Ntha Foundation’s projects as well as providing exposure and access to the Ntha Foundation’s skills training programs.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide administration support to the Ntha Foundation hub & office receiving and dispatching all correspondence.
 Provide logistical support to Ntha Foundation-organized meetings, trainings & workshops
 Liaise with vendors and support procurement processes
 Provide administrative & resource allocation support to the administration & finance departments
 Provide book-keeping and financial records support to the finance specialist.

Specific Requirements

 B.Sc., B.A degree in management, sociology and/or Social sciences
 Fluency in English, especially written English
 High level of computer literacy (Word & Excel essential)
 Desire to learn and a demonstrated interest in office administration and/or finance
management.
 Ability to prioritize within a prioritize in a multi-tasking environment
