M’mawa Management Training | Marketing Associate

Position: Voluntary – Marketing Associate (Management Trainee)
Duration: 3 months
Location: Area 47, Lilongwe

We use creativity and innovation to advocate for socio-economic transformation through strategic communication.

We work in close collaboration with the Bien Corporation Africa; who handle the production and dissemination of our work. We work in multimedia, specialising in digital media.

Purpose of the M’mawa Management Training Program

The M’mawa Management Training is a full-time voluntary program at Ntha Foundation, providing in-class lessons and on-the-job trainings in administration, communication, digital skills, people skills and work ethics. We understand that we cannot all be entrepreneurs/founders – that there must be some managers/administrative partners to assist start-up founders in the realisation of the development of sustainable business.

This program enhances the educational experience through practical training and guided hands-on exposure & involvement in Ntha Foundation’s projects as well as providing exposure and access to the Ntha Foundation’s skills training programs.

Key Responsibilities

 Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
 Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
 Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
 Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
 Assist in the management of website & social media for Ntha Foundation & our clients.
 Support event management, workshops & trainings organised by the Ntha Foundation
 Take part in formal and informal training opportunities.
 Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives

Specific Requirements

 B.Sc. or BA in Marketing and/or Social sciences
 Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
 Creative problem-solving skills
 Self-starter with ability to work independently
 Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills
