The Role of Hubs in Malawi’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: ZANTCHITO ENTREPRENEURSHIP VOICES

At the forefront of Malawi’s growing entrepreneurial movement is the Zantchito Entrepreneurship Voices (ZEV) initiative. Recently, this vibrant platform hosted a panel discussion exploring the critical role of hubs in incubating and supporting businesses across the country. Joining our founder, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi on the panel facilitated by Blessings Mpinganjira were Jacqueline Banda, founder of Jeyie Foods, and Dr. Serah Gondwe, head of TACE Agribiz Hub at LUANAR.

Mzuzu E-Hub Rebrands: INTRODUCING EMERGE LIVELIHOODS

On November 1, 2024, Emerge Livelihoods unveiled its new brand identity in Lilongwe, emphasizing its mission to foster socio-economic growth in Malawi. The event included keynotes on innovation and entrepreneurship, the introduction of new initiatives, and a strategic plan for 2024-2028. Partnerships and community empowerment remain central to their goals.

Ms. Rhoda Kamwaza has transitioned from Managing Director to Board Chair of the Ntha Foundation, a role reflecting her passion and leadership in youth empowerment and education. Her tenure includes impactful programs like the Nyenyezi Fellowship and M’mawa Apprenticeship. Under her guidance, the Foundation aims to expand its mission for African youth.
