April 21st
At the Ntha Foundation, today is not just a celebration — it is a reminder of why we exist.
World Creativity and Innovation Day, recognized globally on April 21st, calls on individuals and organizations to imagine a better future through creative thinking and bold ideas. For us, this day is deeply personal. It aligns with our mission to empower African youth through education, digital skills, and innovation — building a future where creativity is not just nurtured, but valued.
Whether it’s through our M’mawa Apprenticeship Programme, the Nyenyezi Entrepreneurship Fellowship, or our storytelling and skills-building initiatives under the Kwathu Kollective, we believe that creativity is not a luxury — it is a necessity. In a world that constantly evolves, our power lies in our ability to imagine solutions that are not only new, but deeply rooted in the needs and realities of our communities.
As we reflect on this year’s theme — “Step Out, Speak Up, Start Something” — we encourage young people across the continent to embrace their inner innovator. The ideas you’re sitting on today could shape the Africa we dream of tomorrow.
Let this day be your sign to:
💡 Design boldly
🎓 Learn intentionally
🤝 Collaborate generously
🌍 Innovate sustainably
🌍 Happy World Creativity and Innovation Day from all of us at the Ntha Foundation. We see your brilliance. We believe in your vision. Let’s create a future worth remembering.
