We have come to an end of the second cohort of the M’mawa Management Training Program (MMTP). In November last year, we were delighted to partner with Malawi University of Science and Technology as we engaged 8 Business Information Technology and Computer Systems and Security students in M’mawa Management Training Program.
The M’mawa Management Training is a full-time, voluntary training program at Ntha Foundation, co-funded by the Bien Corporation Africa and other partners, providing in-class lessons and on-the-job trainings in administration, communication, digital, and people skills; as well as work ethics.
Asking the trainees what their experience has been here at the Ntha Foundation, and here is what they had to say:
Working at the Ntha Foundation has expanded my skill set beyond its initial scope. I’m glad I had the chance to be trained in various skills that are relevant in all work places, as well as be exposed to a diverse network. The training program has been instrumental in my personal and career growth.
I have had a great experience at NTHA Foundation, where I have learned and honed my skills in a professional working environment. The supervisors and co-workers have been extremely helpful during my entire tenure here.
Working at the foundation has allowed me to gain exposure to different areas of work such as marketing, product development and grant/proposal writing and research as well as digital skills training. The experience has been great as I had the chance to network with industry giants through various events and gain some insight and tips on how to carry out projects successfully.
My experience at Ntha foundation has been great. I have learnt new skills. As a Bants2Business product manager, I have made connections with panellists which is one of the objectives of Bants2business.
It has been a wonderful experience and i have learnt a lot of things that will help me progress in my career.
My experience at Ntha Foundation has been fulfilling. I am now exposed to how work is done and how I can overcome the challenges that come along with it.
Working as an intern at Ntha foundation has been an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to engage in various activities that helped me develop skills in time management, communication, website management, teamwork, and multitasking. Despite some challenges faced, I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to work with an organization that aims to support the youth.
My work integrated learning experience has been illuminating and inspiring. I’ve gotten a taste of the world of work, and I am grateful for all that I have learnt from my supervisors and co-workers.
