Innovations in Youth Skilling and Employability: The Kwathu Kollective at Youth Connekt 2024 Summit

The Ntha Foundation and the Kwathu Kollective are thrilled to announce our participation at the Youth Connekt 2024 Summit in Rwanda, one of Africa’s largest gatherings focused on youth-driven socio-economic transformation. This year’s theme, “Jobs for Youth Through Innovative Skilling,” aligns with our mission to empower African youth with the skills and opportunities necessary to lead, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our Founder, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi, accompanied on this trip by our COO, Mr. Victor Caeser Gondwe, will deliver a keynote in the highly-anticipated TED Talks segment on Day 2, titled “Innovations in Youth Skilling and Employability”. In her address, she will share insights from her journey building the Ntha Foundation and Kwathu Kollective, emphasizing the need for sustainable and innovative skilling programs tailored for African youth. She’ll explore strategies for bridging the education-to-employment gap, fostering digital literacy, and driving entrepreneurship across the continent. This keynote will spotlight the innovative steps the Ntha Foundation and Kwathu Kollective are taking to equip young Africans for the rapidly evolving job market and inspire others to prioritize youth-led development initiatives.

Our participation goes beyond the keynote. Both the Ntha Foundation and Kwathu Kollective are excited to engage with young innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders throughout the summit. As advocates for a self-sustaining Africa led by youth, we look forward to meaningful discussions, collaborations, and partnerships that can help us further our mission.

We invite attendees and partners to connect with us during the summit. Let’s build a future where African youth drive economic progress and social change. To learn more about our initiatives or get involved, please visit our website, reach out to us during the summit, or engage with us online. Together, we can transform Africa—one youth-driven project at a time.
