In celebration of International ICT Day 2024, Digital Skills for Africa in partnership with Girl Up (UN Foundation) has organised a workshop on “Online Safety for Women”. This workshop is a collaborative initiative, and it is fully sponsored by the Ntha Foundation.
Today, we join the global community in celebrating International Girls in ICT Day, a momentous occasion dedicated to empowering and inspiring girls and young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This year, the theme is “Leadership,” emphasizing the pivotal role of strong female role models in shaping the future of STEM.
As of June, 2023, we celebrated 5 years of the work of Ntha Foundation, and this entire year, we have been celebrating 5 years of working together to build this incredible dream, and serve Malawians. The Ntha Foundation is an education trust which fosters the use of creativity and innovation for Development through advocacy. In just five years, we have made remarkable strides towards realising this vision.
The Family Planning News Network (FPNN) is headed to Lilongwe, Malawi from May 22nd to May 26th, 2024 for the first inaugural FPNN reporting trip. This trip is possible through partnership with the 2025 International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP), W. H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (WHGI) at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Ntha Foundation based in Lilongwe, to showcase the transformative power of family planning and reproductive health investments across Malawi.
Today, on the 21st of April, 2024, we celebrate World Creativity and Innovation Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the transformative power of creativity and innovation in shaping our world for the better. It’s a day to honor the ingenuity, resourcefulness, and limitless potential of human imagination.
The World Creativity and Innovation Day 2024 celebration, hosted by His Excellency Rune Skinnebach, the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Malawi, in partnership with the Ntha Foundation, was a resounding success.
